SYNOPSIS
The film tells the story of Gianni Cosetti, one of Italy’s greatest chefs, who worked at Albergo Roma in Tolmezzo from 1969 to 2000, was also a chef at the Quirinal Palace, and is now considered a master of territorial cuisine by Italy’s greatest chefs. In the words of Luigi Veronelli, but also those of other patrons, the menus at Albergo Roma “are immense, unrivalled, and superior” and Cosetti is “the most modern chef Italy has ever seen because he was the first to grasp the absolute value of the Carnia region, with its herbs, mushrooms, and Alpine dairy products”.
