SYNOPSIS
Piuca is different from other gardens: it’s a place where an authentic relationship with nature can be tested on a daily basis and where all plants are welcome without bias.
What’s a landscaper’s garden like? Antonio Perazzi, together with his family, opens the gates of Piuca to share their daily life and explain the design choices made here that have inspired his projects elsewhere. Gracefully and without absolutism, he describes his original interpretation of the fine thread holding together ecological ethics, aesthetics, functionality, practice, and design. Through meticulous footage shot in over a year, the secrets of an exciting place are revealed. The coming and going of seasons, with their numerous flowerings, and the work leading up to the harmonious development of natural spaces show, for the first time, the secret nature of the Piuca garden: a little ecological paradise nestled on the slopes of the highest hill in the Florentine region of Chianti.
