SYNOPSIS
“My collection is decidedly personal because I made it that way. But I’m a person like any other.”
This film was made over a period of 8 years. The collection is seen through exhibitions in different locations, including the Guggenheim in Venice and the museums of Bilbao, Gubbio, Sassuolo, and Biumo. The film contains interviews with many artists involved, including Lawrence Wiener, Phil Sims, Lawrence Carroll, and Winston Roeth. It reconstructs the story of Panza’s life and career as a pioneer of contemporary collecting told in his own words.
