SYNOPSIS
The film focuses on Carlo Scarpa’s work at the Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice. By highlighting how the structural elements merge with the natural ones, the film narrative of Hortus Conclusus starts from the assumption that cinema is perhaps the most suitable means of narrating an architectural object, thanks to the possibility of moving through the spaces and combining the visual dimension with the sound one.
