SYNOPSIS
In all his photographs, for 25 years strictly in black and white, then in color, he always pursued beauty, which he captured with a natural photographic instinct and a rare ability to create a strong poetic impact. His images, strongly played in contrast, frame characters and objects of everyday life in compositions of absolute formal rigor. He combined this extreme sensitivity for composition with rigorous preparation and an in-depth study of his subjects. He won prestigious international awards. His book “Essere Venezia” has sold more than a million copies.

“Venice represents a challenge for me as a photographer. Because habit destroys the eye, by dint of living in a place, this place is no longer seen”.
